Who is the Lake County Community Collaborative

The Lake County Community Collaborative represents the combined outreach efforts of the Lake County Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect (also known as Lake County Children’s Trust Fund) and the Lake County Communities that Care Coalition. The Collaborative includes law enforcement, mental health providers, religious organizations, healthcare agencies, human services organizations, school administration, and other youth-serving agencies. Since 2013, this group has worked to build successful partnerships and promote healthy lifestyles within our community.

Lake County Communities that Care Coalition (CTC)

The CTC believes through building adult and youth coalition capacity, increased education, and implementation of new and enhanced programs, we will speak a common prevention language to address and raise awareness of serious health disparities amongst youth in our community. All prevention efforts delivered through the CTC receive financial support from DHD #10.

Lake County Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect

The purpose of the council is to address the problems of child abuse and neglect prevention in Lake County, including but not limited to identifying needed services, coordinating existing programs, facilitating the delivery of services, initiating new programs as needed, educating the community, and acquiring the financial means to accomplish the stated goal.
